Welcome to my website - the website of John R. Davenport. I am an artist, painter, and photographer. The images on this site are loosely worked oil and pastel paintings of landscapes. These landscapes come from areas along the Ice Age Trail, from Northern Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan, and Northern New Mexico.
New works are either in the two galleries I am associated with or drying in my studio. If you are interested in a painting or proposing a commission, contact me online or by phone.

If you are traveling to Door County, I recommend visiting the Woodwalk Gallery, just south of Egg Harbor on County Road G. The site is a converted farm with a large barn gallery exhibiting 60+ artists. Of course you must check out my paintings before being too distracted.
